WHO AM I?
I am a 1st class graduate within the domains of Cognitive Neuropsychology (which BTW is seriously interesting).
Currently I am in the position, like many individuals in their 20's no longer being funded by student loans to support their easy life style : (
I am also a geek and no, not the type of geek that lives, breathes and whose hobbies, discussions, conversations and fashion sense are focused on my studies.
I am a hard working geek in general and just love facts that are actually useful, interesting, funny and also intellectually mind boggling. Hence a term better to describe me is a wannabe geek!... yep a tad lame but true.

At the point of graduation when the degree certificate representing 3yrs+ worth of stretching my mind was handed to me, a pinnacle moment was reached. The silent gong was heard that "I" : Ms Confuddled's Career-Hunger Games had started.
The initial implicit looks after graduation grew e.g. from friends, family, colleagues, peers, lecturers, the post man ...... heck even my own puppy gave me the look: then it dawned on me the exact moment that gong passed clearly signified that I was ready to choose a career for the next 30yrs of my life, or at least have some idea, plan, strategy or something.... anything!
So it is no surprise that my energies are currently focused on working & to study part time towards a clinical neuro-psychological domain. I tried hard not to rush into any related MSC with a bank loan to float me, or any old GRADUATE SCHEME in a customer service role (e.g. telesales, recruitment consultant or be on some fast track manager scheme dealing with people screaming at me when I had to explain why their PRIMARNI underwear could not be refunded after being worn). I even avoided rushing into the public sector for a job (e.g. police officer, civil servant or MI5) & not to rush into training to be a teacher just because it pays!
[NB: I know many people who have done this, and in fairness it has worked out for some of them. But I would not be Ms Confuddled if I was not confused now would I?].
WHAT CAN THIS BLOG OFFER?
WHAT CAN THIS BLOG OFFER?
Having always loved to write about & creatively design on a range of subjects; alongside my ability to understand scientific topics and to explain them simply... I feel has given me a slight edge.
- [NOTES], [VIDEOS] & [ESSAYS] etc
To help explain scientific topics in a simple and hopefully fun way.
- [IMAGES] & [ACADEMIC POSTERS]
All materials are FULLY REFERENCED & RESEARCHED by me personally, and therefore they are a more reliable source than yahoo answers ( possibly : P ).
- MOTIVATIONAL STUDY METHODS
From imagery & recommendations, to visually help those days where topics seem dry e.g. feel motivated? please refer tot he HELPFUL LINKS TAB ABOVE.
WHAT AM I TRYING TO ACHIEVE?
"ATTENTION TO ALL LAST MINUTE CRAMMERS! or just people who WANT the QUICK version of 100's of JOURNALS"
I do feel my ability to understand the long winded, complexly worded, scientific academic papers at times alongside my sense of humour of not taking it too seriously helps liven up what I am writing about... especially dry topics. So I can offer......:

Please note that I am far from pretentious about how well I can explain social science concepts e.g.
I don't think I am uber intelligent, nor do I generally talk about all the knowledge that has been crammed in to my tiny brain somewhere over the last few years, unless it's actually relevant to the conversation.
In general conversations I do not tend to constantly ramble about topics, definitions or phrases that are primarily found in a book that's hidden in the deep vaults of Harvard, Oxford or Hogwortz library; unless this information is tested in an examination, needed in a conference (i.e. discussing their own research).
[NB: please note the word superfulous].
WHAT AM I TRYING TO ACHIEVE?
I would like to create my own resources that are reliable, well researched, critical, interesting, funny and visually easy to look at e.g. [articles], [short-stories] and [video clips].
My overall aim is to form an online site for people to enjoy and understand the most up to date research or theories in social sciences easily & quickly e.g. Psychology, Neuroscience, Neurology, Medicine, Chemistry and Biology etc.
I hope over time, my dedication to actually regularly write this blog content well will gain donations to help me save towards my studies and have time to be creatively free to blog.
